Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel capable of suppressing the entry of foreign matters such as dust mixed into a fuel supply route into an engine during replacing a main filter.SOLUTION: The shovel includes a main filter 45 provided in the fuel supply route from a fuel tank 19 to the engine, and a fuel filter 56 provided in the fuel supply route between the main filter and the engine 8. Although, during replacing the main filter 45, there is the possibility of the entry of foreign matters such as dust from an area where the main filter 45 is removed into a fuel supply system (a fuel supply pipe 41), the arrangement of the fuel filter 56 in the fuel supply system downstream of the main filter 45 enables the removal (filtering) of the dust entering from the area where the main filter 45 is removed into the fuel supply pipe 41 before entering into the engine 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
