To provide a show case equipped with a partition plate of simple constitution and capable of being set up easily and surely.
The rear of a partition plate 20 to partition the show case body above and below is provided with a damper 30 whose one end is supported rotatably by a coupling shaft 43, and also it is provided slidably with a retaining metal fitting 50 to retain this damper 30 in open condition or close condition. The coupling shaft 43 consists of a bar-shaped member capable of elastic transformation which has a hook 43a being made by bending its one end, and the hook 43a is fitted and set in the recess 24 provided at the rear of the shelf bottom plate 21b of the partition plate 20. Hereby, to attach the damper 30 to the partition plate 20, it will do to insert the coupling shaft 43 into the shaft hole 42 of a bearing 41, and hook the hook 43a in the recess 24 while elastically transforming it, so the work processes are few and can be performed easily and surely. Moreover, this does not need a special member for preventing the slip out of the coupling shaft 43, so this becomes simple constitution.
