This showcase 7 is provided with a back wall 10 retaining a spine, a front side surface and a rear side surface of the jacket sheet with their attached to its inside respectively, a front wall 11, a rear wall 12, a belly wall 13 opposed to the back wall, a support member 14 supporting the article to the bottom part of the showcase with the bottom of a storage chamber 9 raised therefrom, and an insertion clearance S insertingly retaining the lower end of the jacket sheet between the circumferential wall of the support member and the respective walls. This showcase is further provided with an insertion supporting means 17 facing the inner part of the storage chamber from the belly wall of the showcase and gradually expanding its width from the upper part toward the lower part. This showcase comprises a guide means 18, when the jacket sheet is inserted from the upper opening part toward the insertion clearance, guiding the front-side and rear-side surfaces of the jacket sheet toward the inside faces of the front wall and the rear wall of the showcase by the insertion supporting means.
