Abstract:
To provide a showcase capable of achieving energy saving by changing brightness of lighting between a place having a large amount of merchandise and a place having a small amount of merchandise, while maintaining an appropriate illuminance for appeal the merchandise.
The showcase includes a showcase for displaying the merchandise, fluorescent lamps 19 and 22 for lighting the displayed merchandise, as lighting means, and a control device 24 for controlling the fluorescent lamps 19 and 22, as a lighting control means, wherein an illuminance sensor 20 is provided, and the control device 24 controls the fluorescent lamps 19 and 22 based on signals obtained by the illuminance sensor 20.
