Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a showcase capable of lighting its display room appropriately according to the surrounding in which it is placed or used.
CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent lamp 8 is provided to light a display room of a showcase and enclosed with a cylindrical, translucent covering 17. The translucent covering 17 is freely rotatable on the longitudinal rotary axis of the fluorescent lamp 8 and permits the light of the fluorescent lamp 8 to be transmitted wholly therethrough in its radial directions. The translucent covering 17 is also provided with a transparent part 17A and a semitransparent part 17B with the longitudinal lines of demarcation provided therebetween.
