PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily save, pass and stop water by constituting a shower head water stopper in such a manner that the operation to pass and stop water is carried out by a changeover lever and a water flow rate is controlled by bore control of a flow rate adjusting hole.

CONSTITUTION: A shaft 4 is rotated by the changeover lever 3 after opening of a faucet at the time of use. The adjusting hole 5 existing at the shaft 4 and a water flow path 2 are aligned. Both are vertically passed through each other to induce water pass and showers are emitted from the head. The water pass is stopped when the changeover lever 3 is set at a misalignment position. The water is easily passed and stopped while the head 1 is held in the hand by the operation. The lateral movement of the changeover lever 3 in place of rotation is equally well. The water pressure does not drop even if the water is saved by, for example, about 20% in such a manner. There is a difference between a head position and a temp. and water mixing faucet position during showers use with the conventional constitution and if a main cock is stopped during the course of use, the readjustment of the temp. is needed but the temp. change at the time of reuse is prevented with the constitution.
