To provide a shrinkable label with which a general transparent PET bottle capable of being easily recycled can be used as a beer container, and to provide a PET bottle for beer which can be recycled and is inexpensive by using the shrinkable label.

This shrinkable label 2 is closely fitted to the surface of the transparent PET bottle which houses a beer. The shrinkable label has a colored printing layer 22 having light-shielding property over the whole surface of at least one surface of a film base material 21. The colored printing layer 22 is preferably blackish brown, green, blue or black.
