Abstract:
To provide a shutter unit with which it is possible to achieve a faster frame speed without changing a shutter charge time, and an imaging device equipped with the shutter unit.SOLUTION: A shutter unit comprises: a blade group capable of opening/closing an aperture by moving between a pre-travel state and a travel-complete state; an electromagnet; a release member for driving between a contact position coming in contact with the electromagnet and a release position separated from the electromagnet, maintaining the blade group in the pre-travel state at the contact position, and moving the blade group to the travel-complete state at the release position; and a holding member for moving between a hold position for holding the release member at the contact position and a retreat position for making the release member drivable to the release position. The electromagnet is energized so as to attract and hold the release member before execution of next imaging is determined while the release member is in contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
