To provide a shutter for a camera which is compact and inexpensive and surely performs exposure by providing a motor, a rotating member, a sector opening/closing lever and a sector, which are respectively specified.
When the rotating member 16 is rotated (for example, half rotated), the end 14b of the sector opening/closing lever 14 abuts on a projecting part 16b and ascends along an inclined surface 16c. Namely, the lever 14 is turned clockwise against the energizing force of a tension spring 17. Therefore, an opening/closing pin 13 erected on the lever 14 descends to push down the slot 11a of the sectors 11 and 12. As a result, the sector 11 is turned clockwise around a rotary shaft 11b and the sector 12 is turned counterclockwise around a rotary shaft 12b, then the sectors 11 and 12 perform opening actuation. Continuously, when the end 14b of the lever 14 passes the vertex of the projecting part 16b, the end 14b descends by the spring 17 and the lever 14 is turned counter clockwise, so that the pin 13 ascends to push up the slot 11a of the sectors 11 and 12, then the sectors 11 and 12 perform closing actuation.
