To unlock an operation member locked by a locking member, without adding a new member.

A shutter device includes: a blade member which opens/closes an exposure aperture formed in a shutter plate; an operation member which operates the blade member so that the blade member is set to a state of opening the exposure aperture and a state of closing the exposure aperture; a first urging member which urges the operation member so that the blade member is set to the state of opening the exposure aperture; a driving member which drives the operation member; a second urging member which urges the driving member so that the blade member is set to the state of closing the exposure aperture; a locking member which locks the operation member against urging force of the first urging member so that the blade member is set to the state of closing the exposure aperture; and a charging member which charges the second urging member. A contact part to be brought into contact with the locking member is formed on the charging member, and the operation member is unlocked by contact of the contact part with the locking member.
