Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate removing operation of a connecting screw from a screw fastening device in the screw fastening device, in which a shutter opening/closing a screw introducing port in a screw chuck is arranged, for a connecting screw.
SOLUTION: A shutter lever 15, which opens/closes a screw introducing port 13a in a screw chuck 13 at the tip of a screw fastening device for a connecting screw, is installed in a nose block 12 freely rotationally in the vertical direction and oscillationally in the horizontal direction. On the side face of the nose block 12, a locking part 12d, by which the shutter lever 15 is retracted from the screw introducing port 13a so as to be fixed, is formed. When a using connecting screw BS is removed from the screw fastening device, the front part of the shutter lever 15 positioned in the screw introducing port closing position is moved outward and the shutter lever 15 is engaged with a locking part 12d in the nose block 12, and as a result, the shutter lever 15 is locked in the retraction position.
