Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter driving lever buffer mechanism that has a simple and small structure and suppresses bounds occurring upon travelling completion of a shutter blade group, and further in this case, obtains a satisfactory braking state without applying any large load to a driving lever, blade arm, and blade group.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter according to the present invention comprises a buffer mechanism in which, in a buffer member made up of an elastic material, a gap is provided by forming an abutting part on an orbit upon operation of a driving pin provided in a shutter driving lever into a shape not causing a direct abutting on a shutter base plate in a non-load state, and the abutting part is formed into a shape integrally covering both side faces of the gap up to the shutter base plate to thereby form a space part between the shutter base plate and the abutting part, and a first vent port between the space part and an outside is provided at a location proximate to the driving pin.
