Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a small-sized driving source usable for a shutter opening/ closing mechanism by improving the detecting performance of a card trapping member.
SOLUTION: The shutter opening/closing mechanism is provided with a shutter plate 20 which is movably provided between a closing position (shown by the solid line) at which a card running passage is closed and an opening position (shown by the double dotted chain line) at which the passage is opened, a driving source for moving the shutter plate 2, and a connecting member 4 which connects the driving force of the driving source to the shutter plate 2. The shutter plate 2 is constituted in such a way that the opening/closing-side end face 2a of the plate 2 is closed in nearly parallel with the card running passage and, at the same time, can be moved by means of the driving source in nearly parallel with the passage at the closing position.
