PURPOSE: To enable a work to be fed only by a single transfer means by forming an engaging section for permitting an inner shuttle bar to engage disengageably an outer one according to the turn of a turn table and regulating the relative rotation and axial displacement of both bars during the engagement.

CONSTITUTION: When a turn table 5 returns to the original position to feed a work W, an inner shuttle bar 1A and outer shuttle bars 1B, 1C are integrated with each other by the engaging action between a dovetail groove 13 and a dovetail 14 of an engaging section A to be rotated and reciprocated as a whole by a single drive source for feeding the work W. Also, when the turn table 5 is turned to change the position of the work W fed onto the turn table, the inner shuttle bar 1A is disengaged from the outer ones 1B, 1C to give free turning. Thus, in a working line consisting of a plurality of working machines including a working machine M2 provided with the turn table, the work can be fed by the use of a single shuttle bar.
