Title:
SHUTTLECOCK AUTOMATIC SHOOTING DEVICE FOR BADMINTON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01236075
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To intermittently shoot a shuttlecock automatically and to execute an independent basic hitting practice by shooting off the shuttlecock in a discoid shuttle housing case by means of an air gun, dropping it towards a racket, and hitting up the shuttlecock in an obliquely upward direction by means of the racket.

CONSTITUTION: When a pulley 5 having a lacking gear is slipped off from a ratchet gear 6, an arm 7 and a racket 10 are rapidly turned upward by a coil spring 8. By the operation of a control device 21 corresponding to the upward turn, an electromagnetic valve 11 is switched, and the air of an air piping 2 is jetted from an air gun 12. A shuttlecock 22 in a recessed part 14b is slipped away from the recessed part 14b and dropped. On the other hand, the racket 10 raised up to the vicinity of the air gun 12 is folded in making a hinge 9 into a supporting point when the arm 7 reaches a middle stopper 24, it is struck against the shuttlecock 22, and the shuttlecock 22 is allowed to fly. The racket 10 is struck against an upper stopper 25, thereafter, somewhat rocked downward by the dead weight, struck against a stopper piece 9, and stopped.
