Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side fence position detection device for detecting a vertical motion of a side fence for a bed, a side fence, and a bed with a side fence that can be installed with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An atmospheric pressure sensor 10 for detecting an atmospheric pressure at a height position of a side fence 6 is attached to the side fence 6 installed along the edge on the longitudinal side of a bed 5, which can vertically move between a first position P1 and a second position P2 lower than the first position P1. A side fence position detecting device 1 includes determination means 21 for determining a vertical motion of the side fence 6 by the output data from the atmospheric pressure sensor 10. Since a change in the height position of the side fence 6 for the bed 5 is determined by the output data from the atmospheric pressure sensor 10, the vertical motion of the side fence 6 can be detected with a simple configuration in which only the atmospheric pressure sensor 10 is attached.
