Abstract:
The lock of the snow chain consists of two main parts (1,2), the first (1) of them is joined to a steel rope (3) with a bushing (4) which has an adjacent cylindrically shaped area (5) leading to a ball (6) at the opposite end. The second part (2) of the lock is also joined to a steel rope (3) with a bushing (8) and has a matching indent (10,11) at its end for the accommodation of the ball (6). A slot (13) positioned at the second part (2) allows the insertion of the ball shaped element (6).
