Title:
SLIDING MATERIAL WITH FLAME SPRAYED FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0748665
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a sliding material applied with frame sprayed film in which an inexpensive wear resistant material is employed, firmly joining to the sliding part by a simple flame spraying means and having high wear resistance and stable joining strength is formed.

CONSTITUTION: The surface of the sliding part on a metallic substrate is directly flame sprayed with a wear resistant brass material to form wear resistant film by the same, by which the sliding material applied with the flame sprayed film in which the wear resistant brass material is constituted of an alloy contg., by weight, 20-45% Zn, 0.1-10% of at least one kind among Al, Mn, Fe, Ni, Si, Co, Cr, Ti, Nb, V, Zr, Mo and Pb, and the balance Cu is formed. Furthermore, the wear resistant brass material may be added with 1-50% Mo. Thus, wear resistance and seizing resistance higher than those of the sliding material, flame spray material and sintering material of the conventional copper alloy simple substance are shown, and its joining strength can also be improved by the addition of Mo.
