Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the intrusion of the sludge into an engine hood main body through a clearance, which is generated by the oscillation of side panels in the opening and closing direction due to vibration, by engaging a side panel, which is to be firstly closed, with a main body or canceling this engagement in response to the opening and closing action of a side panel to be second closed.
CONSTITUTION: A side panel 20 to be first closed and an engine hood main body 9a are engaged with each other at plural positions so as to prevent the oscillation of each side panel 20, 21, 22 in the opening and the closing direction due to the vibration at the time of traveling on a bad road and so as to prevent the generation of noise and the intrusion of the sludge into the engine hood main body 9a. Furthermore, since the side panel 20, which is to be closed in response to the opening and closing operation of the side panel 21 to be second closed, can be automatically engaged with the main body 9a or disengaged from the main body 9a, fitting operation or canceling operation is not increased, and lowering of the workability is thereby prevented.
