Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side part structure of a vehicle that can reduce effectively travel resistance of the vehicle while reducing the possibility that a beautiful appearance of the vehicle may deteriorate.SOLUTION: The side part structure of a vehicle is formed of corner panels 12 provided in front corners of the vehicle (1) and corner vanes 20 which are extended in a vehicle height direction Y of the vehicle and form, between the corner panels and the vanes, travel wind passages (24) leading from a front side toward a rear side of the vehicle. The corner panels are formed to have an upper panel part (12a), a lower panel part (12b) and a joint groove (12C) between the upper panel part and the lower panel part. The upper panel part and the lower panel part have upper recessed parts (34) and lower recessed parts (36) respectively, which are recessed toward a vehicle body inner side of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
