Abstract:
To provide a run flat tire improved in durability at the time of having a flat tire as well as improved in traveling distance and speed.
The side-portion reinforcing layer for a run flat tire and the run flat tire are configured by including, with respect to 100 parts by mass of a rubber component containing 20 to 80% by mass of natural rubber and/or polyisoprene rubber and 80 to 20% by mass of polybutadiene rubber, a rubber composition to which 0.1 to 50 parts by mass of a reinforcing agent of polyparaphenylene terephthalamide is blended.
