Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side rail for a bed in which the side rail can be fixed on the side part of the bed simply and easily, and furthermore, the side rail is never inclined and one hand work is possible.SOLUTION: A pair of extending cylindrical strut members 3, 4 is fixed downward in a body frame 2. Fixing members 5, 6 are loosely engaged to the strut members 3, 4 coaxially and respectively, and pivotally supported around rocking shafts 7, 8 in a rocking manner. A pair of first pin 11 and second pin 12 is disposed in a connecting member 10 for connecting the strut members 3, 4. The first pin 11 can be abutted with the fixing member 6, and the second pin 12 can be screwed to a nut 13 fixed to the connecting member 10 and reciprocated in the longitudinal direction of the connecting member 10, and thereby can be abutted with the fixing member 5. The fixing members 5, 6 are fitted to a pair of cylindrical supporting parts 100, 101, respectively, and the second pin 12 is screwed into the nut 13, and thereby the lower ends of the fixing members 5, 6 are moved to the contradicting direction.
