PURPOSE: To provide a side stream condensation system wherein a flow rate restricting orifice is provided in parallel with a main stop valve and when only one of condensate purifying-circulating pumps is operating, the main stop valve is closed thereby when one pump is operating, the operation of the pump at an excessive flow rate is prevented.
CONSTITUTION: The flow rate restricting orifice 33 is provided in parallel with the main stop valve 31, and the condensate purifying-circulating pumps 3 are respectively provided with operation detectors 34 that are connected with a judging apparatus 35 for judging whether only one condensate purifying-circulating pump is operating. The output of the judging apparatus 35 is inputted into the main stop valve 31, and when only one of the condensate purifying-circulating pumps 3 is operating, the main stop valve 31 is closed. Thus when only one of the condensate purifying-circulating pumps 3 is operating, since a passage resistance can be added to the condensate purifying system, the operation of the pump at an excessive flow rate can be prevented when one pump is operating.
