Abstract:
To provide a siderophore having high ability to bind to iron ion and thus assisting the stable existence of iron ion in its aqueous solution, and to provide a marine environment modifier containing the siderophore.
The siderophore is a compound represented by chemical structural formula (I) or (II) or a salt thereof. The marine environment modifier containing the siderophore is also provided.
