Abstract:
To provide a sidewalk-roadway boundary block in which the width from a road side edge of a curb to a sidewalk side edge of a guard fence is minimized when the guard fence is erected on the sidewalk side of the curb extending along the sidewalk-roadway boundary.SOLUTION: In a sidewalk-roadway boundary block 1, a curb 3 protrudes above a pavement surface and higher than the surroundings at intervals along an extending direction thereof, and has a plurality of upright parts 3b that is upright in the substantially vertical direction. A guard rail R is stretched with the upright parts as a support. A hollow region in which an electric wire cable 4 can be laid is formed in a lower section 3e of the curb 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
