Abstract:
PURPOSE: To save the labor of a work for fitting an injection device to a die and to efficiently and safely execute a die changing work.
CONSTITUTION: A sideway clamping and vertical injecting die casting machine is the one, in which an injection sleeve is fitted to the parting surface between a fixing die 2 and a shifting die 3 clamping the dies to sideway and the injection device 18 for press-filling up molten metal into a cavity is made to be hung through a tie rod 22 engaged so as to be freely fitted/detached to the parting surface of the fixing die and the shifting die. Then, a supporting member 26 inserting the tie rod 22 so as to be slidable in the vertical direction, is supported to a machine frame so as to be shiftable in the die opening/closing direction. Further, the injection device 18 is supported with the supporting member 26 by a lifting means for lifting the injection device 18, and a shifting means 33 for shifting the injection device 18 in the die opening/closing direction is arranged.
