Title:
SIGNAL INTERPOLATION DEVICE, SIGNAL INTERPOLATION METHOD AND RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3713200
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal interpolation device or the like that restores a signal close to an original signal with low distortion from a modulation wave obtained by using a signal resulting from limiting a frequency band of the original signal or restores an audio signal with high sound quality.
SOLUTION: A spectrum analysis section 3 decides a pass band of a variable BPF 1 and a variable HPF 6 and a frequency of a local oscillation signal on the basis of an input signal. The variable BPF 1 gives a component with a frequency band whose upper limit is the upper limit of the spectrum of the input signal to a mixer section 5. A variable frequency oscillation section 4 gives the local oscillation signal with the frequency equal to the pass bandwidth of the variable BPF 1 to the mixer section 5. The mixer section 5 mixes the component supplied from the variable BPF 1 with the local oscillation signal. The variable HPF 6 gives a component with the bandwidth having nearly equal to the pass bandwidth of the variable BPF 1 and adjacent to the high frequency side of the spectrum of the input signal in the signal generated through the mixing by the mixer section 5 to an adder section 7. The adder section 7 adds the signal fed from the variable HPF 6 to the input signal delayed by a delay section 2 to provide an output signal.
