Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate recognition of a target point by a pilot by changing the projecting direction of the light, which can be recognized only from a limited direction, at a fixed speed and emitting flash light when the light direction is matched with the predetermined direction.
SOLUTION: A light emitting unit 2 and a light projecting unit 3 are stacked vertically, and a battery and a control circuit are built in a main body 1. A reflecting body 5 in the light emitting unit 2 is surrounded by a ring type light emitting tube 6, and the reflecting body 5 and the light emitting tube 6 are covered by means of a green transparent cylindrical cover 7. A cup type reflecting plate 8 in the light projecting unit 3 and a bulb 9 are covered by means of a red transparent cover 10, while the bulb 9 is fixed on a bottom plate 11, and the reflecting plate 8 is rotated around the bulb 9 at a fixed speed. The projected red light emitted from a light projecting unit 3 can be recognized by a pilot only when a helicopter exists in the certain limited direction because of an action of the reflecting plate 8, and the red light seems to a pilot to be emitted intermittently from the light projecting unit 3 because the reflecting plate 8 is rotated at a constant speed.
