Abstract:
To provide a signal measuring instrument that makes it easier to set the modulation degree and the number of channels of a modulated broadcast signal on the transmitter side more appropriately.SOLUTION: A signal measuring instrument includes an extraction unit, a first calculation unit, and a second calculation unit. The extraction unit extracts a modulated broadcast signal from a broadcast band signal including a plurality of modulated broadcast signals in which the broadcast signals of respective channels are intensity-modulated. The first calculation unit calculates the first modulation degree of each of the modulated broadcast signals on the basis of the signal level of the modulated broadcast signal. The second calculation unit calculates the second modulation degree of the broadcast band signal on the basis of the first modulation degree of all the modulated broadcast signals included in the broadcast band signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
