Abstract:
To provide a signal for packaging of an influenza virus vector.
The signal for packaging (incorporation) of an influenza virus vector, and a method for transmitting and maintaining the influenza virus and foreign nucleic acid in viruses and cells by using the signal are provided. A method for expressing a heterologous nucleic acid segment in cells is also provided. The method includes a process for bringing them into contact with recombinant viruses and a process for detecting or deciding whether a product encoded by the heterologous nucleic acid segment is expressed or not in the cells.
