Title:
SIGNAL PHASE ADJUSTING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3256701
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a new signal phase adjusting device capable of extracting a transmitting signal from the halfway of a cable including delay elements at a certain prescribed timing.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of newly arranging a spatial optical transmitting equipment, signal delay time values corresponding to the lengths of carrier cables SL1, SL2 from a signal oscillation source up to respective fixed stations are previously set up in respective fixed stations SS1 to SSn, and at the time of normal communication, the phases of optical signals generated from respective fixed stations SS1 to SSn are shifted only by respectively set delay time values so that the optical signals generated from respective fixed stations SS1 to SSn can be simultaneously radiated at the prescribed timing. Even if the overlapped parts of respective light beams radiated from respective fixed stations SS1 to SSn are generated, no influence is exerted upon the reception of a ground station MS. Thereby the degree of freedom in the arrangement design of fixed stations can be improved.
