Abstract:
To optimally detect an open failure in an input path from a sensor circuit to a determination unit in a failure detection circuit in a cylinder internal pressure sensor.SOLUTION: A signal processing circuit 40 of a cylinder internal pressure sensor 1 comprises: an output circuit 46; a timing detection circuit 61; and a determination unit 62. In the signal processing circuit 40 of the cylinder internal pressure sensor 1, when a timing of a pressure inside a cylinder being in a prescribed low pressure state is detected by the timing detection unit 61, the output circuit 46 is configured to hold an output by an input value inputted right before or right after the timing for a prescribed period, and the determination unit 62 is configured to perform determination processing during the prescribed period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
