Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process image data fast with respect to a signal processing device for an image signal which is constituted in one chip including a MOS solid image pickup device, and an image input device.
SOLUTION: This device has an image input part 21 and a signal processing part 22 provided adjacently thereto and the image input part 21 comprises a pixel array 24 which have pixels 23 arranged in a matrix and plural analog-to- digital converters 25 and has a data read circuit 26 which converts the analog signal converted by the pixels into a digital signal; and the signal processing part 22 comprises signal processors 27-1 to 27-4. Each signal processor includes a processing element 28. Here, PEs 28 have the same data processing function in the same signal processor and process signals in parallel according to inputted control signals. Further, the signal processors are interconnected by plural wires 29.
