To provide a signal processor and a signal processing method for estimating the timing when operation noise occurs due to driving of a signal recording medium without increasing costs, and to provide a program.
The signal processor is provided with: a sound collection part for collecting sound to convert it into an acoustic signal; a signal recording part which includes an actuator driven by a current supplied from a power source to generate audible noise due to the driving of the actuator and records the acoustic signal; a current detection part for detecting a temporal change in the current supplied to the signal recording part; and a signal processing part for determining the presence of the audible noise based on the detected temporal change in the current, and removing the audible noise from the acoustic signal having the audible noise superimposed thereon when determining the presence of the audible noise.
