Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the space for performing maintenance of an LED signal bulb even if an outside line cable os shorter than predetermined length and to further prevent twisting of the outside line cable.
SOLUTION: In the signal for the railway, a display unit having the LED signal bulb; and a lamp box for storing a plurality of display units are provided. The outside line cable electrically connected to the LED signal bulb is fixed to the lamp box by a fixing part mounted to the lamp box. A distal end of the outside line cable fixed at the fixing part is connected to a terminal base. Further, in the signal for the railway, a support plate for supporting the terminal base is provided such that the terminal base is contact/release-moved to a display unit closest to the fixing part of the plurality of display units. The support plate is mounted to the lamp box such that it extends from the neighborhood to the fixing part toward the inner side of the lamp box and is turned making a mounting part of the fixing part at the lamp box as an approximate rotation center. Thereby, the terminal base is contact/release-moved relative to the display unit closest to the fixing part.
