Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal transmitting structure, with which a transmitter/ receiver to be used not only can achieve high-speed transmission but also can decrease power consumption required for transmission.
SOLUTION: The transmitting system structure equipped with the signal transmitter/receiver is provided. The signal transmitter for transmitting a differential input signal pair to a signal line is mainly used for the purpose of precharging the input terminal of the signal receiver to a prescribed voltage level. After precharge, the differential signal pair is transmitted to the signal line. The signal receiver is provided with a positive feedback differential amplifier, a coupling circuit and a precharger. The precharger can precharge the differential input terminal of the positive feedback differential amplifier to a prescribed voltage level. During evaluation, the coupling circuit is connected from the input terminal to the differential input terminal. When there is a sufficient voltage difference in the differential input terminal, the positive feedback differential amplifier is turned on, amplifies the inputted differential input signal and outputs that signal to a differential output terminal.
