A data recording device 10 has: a circuit unit 12 having a storage function storing the inputted signal and a signal transfer function transferring the stored signal to an external device; and a battery unit 14 supplying power to the circuit unit 12 through wirings 28 provided separately from the circuit unit 12. The circuit unit 12 and the battery unit 14 record the signal according to the state of the moving body while moving together with the moving body in a state that the circuit unit 12 and the battery unit 14 are respectively installed to the moving body repeating a cycle wherein the moving body moves on a prescribed track.
