Abstract:
To provide a signal switching device and a signal switching method that can realize switching without shock of an image sound at the time of switching.SOLUTION: A signal switching device according to an embodiment separates a MPU and a packet of the MPT before and after switching from an IP data flow and a packet_id, obtains an MPU number of each MPU from an MPU time stamp descriptor, outputs an MMTP packet with the access unit count counter initialized to zero at the change point, obtains each MPU number and the first presentation time of the access unit included in each MPU from the MPU time stamp descriptor, obtains the MPU number of each MPU and the presentation time of each access unit of the MPU from the MPU extended time stamp descriptor, obtains the last presentation time of each access unit, and selects the last MMTP packet before switching, and the last MMTP packet after switching.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
