Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of the cable wiring of a signal converter monitoring temperature, pressure and a liquid state, etc. SOLUTION: The transmission of a signal is executed by a field bus conductor. Electric conductors 18, 19 among the electric conductors 16 to 19 of a conductor system are the field bus conductors, and the electric conductors 16, 17 are power conductors for the power supply. The signal converters 1, 2 and 3, 4 are connected respectively to the field bus conductors through field bus controllers 8 and 10, and besides, are connected to the power conductors through voltage converters 9 and 15. Resistors 20 to 22 are connected respectively to both the ends of the conductor system so that surge impedance is matched.
