To provide a signalling compound for reacting with hydrogen peroxide to produce detectable species.
There is provided a compound expressed by formula I, wherein the B(OR)2 group is substituted by a hydroxy group (-OH) or an anion thereof (-O-); Sig comprises an aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring and includes a dioxetane ring bonded to a group of the aromatic ring or heteroaromatic ring, detected by detectable properties; B is a boron atom; each R has mutually no relation, selected from a hydrogen atom and a lower alkyl group, and can be mutually bonded as a straight or branched alkylene chain forming a five or six-membered ring or allylene ring. The compound per se represented by the formula I has no detectable property or very weak degree of the properties and the detectable properties are selected from fluorescene, chemiluminescene, and bioluminescene.
