This camera is provided with a hand-writing inputting means 30, capable of inputting character information such as a signature and a comment, etc., by hand-writing, and a character recording means for recording the character information inputted by the hand-writing inputting means 30 on a recording medium, while linking the information to the image, then the photographer's signature and the comment as for a photographing place, etc., are hand-written and inputted immediately after photographing so as to be stored together with the image.
