Abstract:
To provide a silencer for a diesel engine provided with a particulate filter and capable of protecting the particulate filter from external force.
This silencer for the diesel engine is provided with the particulate filter between an inlet part in which exhaust gas flows and an outlet part from which exhaust gas flows out. Strength members for letting exhaust gas pass through and protecting the particulate filter are provided on the downstream side in the direction of the exhaust gas flow in the inlet part and on the upstream side in the direction of the exhaust gas flow in the outlet part.
