PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer making a noise reduction effect and a pressure loss reduction of a supercharger compatible, and a super charger equipped with the silencer.SOLUTION: A silencer 21 includes: a housing 23 which has a cylindrical portion 27 having a shaft in a rotary axis A direction of a compressor impeller 7, and a cover portion 29 blocking one end of the cylindrical portion 27; an introducing port 28 which is provided on the cylindrical portion 27 and introduces gas from the outside into the housing 23; an air supply port 30 which supplies the gas in the housing 23 to a suction port of a compressor; a curved wall portion 31 which is provided in the housing 23, curves so as to project out in the rotary axis A direction from a periphery of the air supply port 30 toward the cover portion 29, and reverses a flowing direction of a part of the gas flowing from the introducing port 28 toward the air supply port 30; and a baffle plate 35 which is provided in an inner space R surrounded by the cylindrical portion 27, the cover portion 29, and the curved wall portion 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
