Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a collision sound generated when a moving contact point and a fixed contact point are forcibly dissociated by providing a spacer having a slant face to be kept in face contact with the lower face of a contact plate when the contact plate is rocked on a terminal board on the opposite side to the fixed contact point on the terminal board across a support terminal.
CONSTITUTION: A spacer 6 made of hard synthetic resin is pressed into an angular groove 2b at the lower section of a support terminal 2 on a terminal board 1 below the side of a contact plate 3 where no moving contact point 4 is provided, and the spacer 6 is fixed between the angular groove 2b and the terminal board 1. The left end 6b of the spacer 6 is made higher than the right end 6c, and the left end 6b is made equal to or slightly higher in height than the bottom section of the support groove 2a of the support terminal 2. A slant face 6a lowered toward the right is formed between the left end 6b and the right end 6c. An operation piece 12 is moved to the right side while the contact points 4, 5 are deposited to forcibly dissociate both contact points 4, 5, the lower face of the contact plate 3 is brought into contact with the slant face 6a of the spacer 6 on a relatively wide face, and the striking sound generated at the time of a collision of them is dispersed and reduced by the spacer 6.
