Abstract:
Disclosed is a silicon fine particle for producing a silicon solar cell at low cost. Also disclosed are a method for producing such a silicon fine particle, a solar cell using the silicon fine particle, and a method for manufacturing the solar cell. Specifically disclosed is a solar cell (10) wherein a p-type silicon fine particle layer and an n-type silicon fine particle layer are arranged in layers between a transparent electrode (11) and a backside electrode (17). In the p-type silicon fine particle layer, p-type silicon fine particles (14), each having a surface covered with a coating film (3) formed by a film compound having a reactive group, are arranged in layers. Meanwhile, n-type silicon fine particles (15), each having a surface covered with a coating film formed by a film compound, are arranged in layers in the n-type silicon fine particle layer. The p-type silicon fine particle layer and the n-type silicon fine particle layer are cured by a crosslinking reaction with a crosslinkable group of a crosslinking agent (16) which has a plurality of crosslinkable groups each of which forms a bond by reacting with a reactive group.
