Abstract:
To provide silicon nitride ceramic sintered compact having excellent wear resistance when using as a part of electronic equipment such as the bearing part for a hard disc driver and an excellent radiation property of friction heat.
The silicon nitride ceramic sintered compact contains a specified amount of at least one compound selected from compounds of group 3a, 2a, and 4a elements and 1 to 5 wt parts of carbonide such as SiC, etc., to suppress an abnormal growth of SiC crystalline particles and to improve thermal conductivity.
