Title:
SILICON STEEL SHEET EXCELLENT IN MAGNETIC PROPERTY AFTER ANNEALING BY SHORT-TIME HIGH FREQUENCY INDUCTION HEATING, AND ITS PRODUCTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10121214
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain an inexpensive nonoriented silicon steel sheet excellent in magnetic properties after magnetic annealing by short-time high frequency induction heating.

A steel, having a composition which consists of ≤0.005% C, 0.50-1.30% (Si+1/2Mn), ≤0.010% S, ≤0.002% Al, and the balance essentially Fe and in which inevitable contamination with Ti, Ni, V, and Zr is controlled so that (Ti+Nb+V+Zr)=0.001 to 0.01% is satisfied, is used. By this method, excellent iron loss can be obtained by means of magnetic annealing by short- time high frequency induction heating and an energy cost at the time of magnetic annealing can be reduced, and cost reduction of the nonoriented silicon steel sheet can be attained.
