Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicone resin composition which has excellent storage stability even upon the addition of a catalyst and can be utilized as a coating for use in solvent-based or non-solvent clear and enamel paints, and also, is capable of producing a coating film being excellent in solvent resistance, releasability, oil-repellancy, weatherability and resistance to staining, by curing at room temperature or with heat treatment.
SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) 100 pts.wt. alkoxy-terminated polyorganosiloxane which is composed of RSiO3/2 units and R2SiO2/2 units, wherein R represents a substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group and each of R may be the same or different, and is terminated with (R1O)3SiO1/2 unit, wherein R1 is the same group as R, compounded with (B) 1 to 500 pts.wt. organosiloxane oligomer which is obtained by partial hydrolysis condensation of a silane represented by the formula: (R2O)4Si, wherein R2 is the same group as R.
