Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a silicone rubber composition excellent in thermal responsiveness, processability, and steam resistance by incorporating a specific copolymer into a silicone rubber composition.
CONSTITUTION: A styrene/ethylene/butylene/styrene copolymer is incorporated into a silicone rubber composition preferably in an amount of 0.1-100 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. the polyorganosiloxane (e.g. vinylated polydimethylsiloxane) as the base polymer of the composition.
