To provide a silicone rubber powder with reduced ill smell which would occur in the course of time, even in the presence of a polyether compd. and water, an effective method for preparing the rubber powder, and a cosmetic with reduced ill smell which would occur in the course of time, although the cosmetic comprises the rubber powder, a polyether compd. and water.
This silicone rubber powder is prepd. by impregnating, in the presence of a platinum type catalyst, a compd. which lowers the catalytic action of the platinum type catalyst in a silicone rubber powder crosslinked by the hydrosilylation. The preparation of the silicone rubber powder is conducted by impregnating, in the presence of a platinum type catalyst, a compd. which lowers the catalytic action of the platinum type catalyst in a silicone rubber powder crosslinked by the hydrosilylation. This cosmetic comprises at least the silicone rubber powder, a polyether compd., and water.
